Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are simple devices to use, but they are of little use if, in a real case, the testimonials do not know how to detect a cardiorespiratory arrest (CRA) or how to act (activate the "chain of survival").

At Sedalux we are going to give official courses in Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED handling throughout our network of clinics and tattoo centers. The aim of these courses is to ensure that all the staff we work with are prepared for any real situation and thus create a cardioprotected and safer working space for our patients.

Anesthesiology today is very different from 40 years ago, as is the nursing profession, but the organizational model has not changed much. On the other hand, the socio-health reality we are living in is pushing us to consider new forms of internal organization, increasingly promoting "Anesthesia Teams" (or anesthesia teams), which include anesthesiologists and specialized (or advanced practice) nurses.

In recent years, anesthesiology activity in Spain has been carried out almost exclusively within the in-hospital setting, both in MIR training and in the daily care activity of the consolidated anesthesiologist; out-of-hospital activity being practically non-existent.
However, for some time now, especially in the USA and the United Kingdom, what is known as Office-Based Anesthesia (OBA) has been developing, which encompasses all those activities that an anesthesiologist can perform on an outpatient basis but outside the hospital setting, and which the ASA itself recognizes as a subspecialty within Anesthesia.

In our country, this subspecialty is mainly nourished by private patients who, being environments where formal academic training is practically nonexistent or non-existent, the lack of knowledge and misinformation of the anesthesiologist professional leads to distance their interest in this field.
This course aims to provide specialized post-graduate "refresher" training, which does not exist to date, to further improve the knowledge of advanced sedation techniques that the anesthesiology professional has, adapted to the OBA environment. [COMING SOON]
